99Damage.de has revealed the participants' list for its fourth Arena Cup, from January 12-13.
Powered by Dailymotion and Aoc, the 99Damage Arena cups are two-day tournaments featuring five teams and a King of the Hill format with four rounds, each one played in a best-of-three mode.
The winner of each round will advance to the next stage, where they will take on a new opponent. The prizes will increase by $250 after every round all the way to the last stage, in which $1,000 will be at stake.
The winner of each Arena Cup is the team that makes the most money, who will then be invited to take part in the next edition of the tournament.
Below you can find a picture that will help you understand how the system works:
After mousesports secured back-to-back Arena Cups, Orbit won the third edition of the tournament and thus enter this tournament in the last stage. They will be joined by Swedish rivals FlipSid3 Tactics, who recently added Andreas "znajder" Lindberg and Mathias "pauf" Köhler, Serbian side aimface and German duo ALTERNATE and PENTA Sports.
